Hi - welcome to Spark!

I started Spark Disability Services because I have a passion for helping people to find the mojo, the motivation, the... yes, that's right - the SPARK they need to achieve the things that are meaningful to them.  I get a real kick out of seeing people persevere to achieve things that once upon a time they may have thought were out of reach.

My coaching journey began in 2016, when I was a recent university graduate with little experience, scratching around for a full-time job.  I have always had an interest in how government programs intersect with people's real-life experience (that was the focus of my studies), so when an opportunity came up to work as a Local Area Coordinator in the National Disability Insurance Scheme, I dived in - and that was it, I was hooked!  From my first day in the office, I realised two things: 

First, that coaching was a central part of helping people with disability to realise the potential of their NDIS supports; 

Second, that I wanted to work with people who wanted to take control of their lives. 

So that's the idea I used as the foundation of Spark - don't just give people the fish they need to survive - provide the spark they need to become the fisherman.
